Les Miserables

Ok, so there are lots of movies I like, even love, but the one movie that will always be first in my heart is Les Miserables (with Geoffrey Rush, Liam Neeson, Claire Danes, Uma Thurman, and Hans Matheson...an excellent cast).

I first saw this movie when I was around 12 years old. I was taking voice lessons (something that didn't last long) and I was singing a song from the musical version of Les Mis. My teacher told me to watch the movie so I could get a better idea of what I was working on and at the time I was not so excited about it. Boy did that change.

I cried to say the least. The roller coaster of emotion is incredible. To this day I have never experienced what I did (and still do) when watching this movie. I have never been so concerned with characters and their struggles to the point where I am silent and just let the tears fall down my face or smile. I am literally speechless every time.
I know it sounds over dramatic but it's true.

This movie is so close to my heart that I barely share it with anyone. I have only watched it with my mom, and one other friend and am now sharing it with another, and quite nervous that she will not like it as much as I...but I am silly as I am sure she will.

Aaaaannnnnnddddd...the point of me writing this is to encourage someone else to watch it.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

That is all for tonight.
